We recommended this restaurant to friends, very good value for money, however we were very disappointed to have to taste an excellent wine like Pico in crude water glasses like in the canteen.

Spectacular food. Great treatment from the two waiters who served us. Very good price for excellent food. I recommend the lulinhas and the coconut dessert.

Simple and good food. Good welcome
We went for dinner (two people) and were very well taken care of (we had booked an hour before). Tuna and pork very good. The spectacular pineapple mousse. The attention and atmosphere of 10. A place to return to without a doubt. The waiter even came out of the place to show us where we could go to get a taxi because we had already returned the car we had rented. Very grateful for the treatment they gave us, we hope to be able to return soon.

We are a Galician couple and we are writing this review still in the premises.
If you come to have lunch/dinner here, we believe that the obligatory dish is the rare grelhado tuna. They also recommended the “peixe porco” but it had just run out and we were left wanting. Good product and, of course, a very good cook.
The pineapple mousse is delicious and the coconut mousse too.
The service is excellent, with magnificent attention.
You have to reserve before coming. We didn't do it and had to wait an hour.
The place has a cozy atmosphere with some Spanish guitars in the background, lattices... everything is very beautiful.
Lastly, we loved the glasses!!

Price - quality of 10, very good baby squid, pleasant atmosphere, go early or make a reservation because there is usually a line at least for dinner, the treatment of the staff is fantastic

Unwelcoming, scanning the client up and down before showing us a table. Felt like they were doing us a favour.
First, two of our dishes weren’t available. Then we had to wait for over 60 minutes for our food. They had 60 minutes to prepare the food and still my fish was cold. Definitely not recommend to go there. After taking the food they did not even ask if we liked it or anything.

The restaurant stops seating at 09:30pm, the kitchen closes at 10:30pm. They will not be happy if you show up past 9pm, just forewarning.
We did not feel welcomed by the staff, they seemed very angry.
We ordered the octopus because of all the good reviews we saw, it was so tough that my husband could not eat it. There was too much salt on all of the food. It was actually the worst meal we have had in the Azores.
I do not recommend, please give another restaurant your business.

Before arriving to Ponta Delgada, this was on my list of restaurants to try. We are glad we went. My wife and I enjoyed a nice lunch. Fresh seafood. Get the chourico and shrimp! And octopus!
