Four days of my holidays in Ponta Delgada I have been to many restaurants with high rates, above 4,7. Waited in a queue for 30 min in each especially during the dinner time. And on the 4th day I found this snack bar Apito Dourado. I took tuna steak two time, soups of the day. Everything was very delicious. And the service was excellent. I have been there 3 times since then and always found a spot to sit. Highly recommend this place!
The food and price were ok, but this restaurant is not designed for tourists, the service doesn't speak a word of English and you can tell when someone doesn't want to speak another language
the place is not very big, a little away from the center and you feel all the warmth of Portugal, thank you Fernando for the welcome and your warm presence, the cuisine is delicious from starter to dessert.
