Very well prepared food, good service and good atmosphere. We were a group of 9 people. Everyone enjoyed the Conteira steak, the bitoque and the squid. At the end, a divine pineapple ice cream. Strongly recommended!

Family atmosphere, excellent service, very well prepared food in generous portions! The pineapple and mulatto cookie ice creams are the best I’ve ever had! I recommend!

It's simply great! When I say this, I mean it's simple because you don't need anything fancy to eat well in Portugal; and it's literally great whatever you eat here! You can order fish or meat, chips or rice, or (my favourite) cheese platter or prawns, I guarantee all will be excellent! I should also mention that you have a great host there, Nuno! He will greet you with a smiley face and make your lunch/dinner an enjoyable experience. Thanks to him and everyone who works in the restaurant for some very fond memories. I'll always remember the food and the friendship... oh yes, highly recommended!

Avoid it, the food is a thousand times better at the nearby supermarket.
In addition to being expensive (we ordered a mix of octopus meats and garlic breads) the quantities were ridiculous and POORLY COOKED, the meat showed that it had been made at noon and was overheated, dry, hard and flavorless, the waitress was looking all the time the clock to go and making a bored face every time a customer came in close to closing time, they were borders between them and even with us, they took a long time to serve, and as the dishes came out, they became more and more disappointed.
It was the worst dinner of the trip without a doubt, it's a shame that it was the first dinner in the Azores and we got such a bad impression, it is an incredible island and as I said, you eat MUCH BETTER and cheaper in the nearby supermarket.
I don't know if they changed the management or what happened because I see super good comments... it wasn't my experience, and I'm not usually so negative.
They wanted to sell us the dessert as the wonder of the island and saying that people traveled just to try it, nothing could be further from the truth. There are a thousand better places. Please take the comments positively to improve, MORE quantity, food that is made to order, and staff with a good face, it is not that difficult.

To have lunch.
About the space, I can tell you that it is quite spacious, clean, organized and with a lot to see. There is a large television for those who like it.
Starters, very simple and tasty garlic bread and very good fresh cheese with ground pepper too.
Food, chicken breast with salad and fries, well prepared, well presented, tasty and with very generous portions.
Dessert was homemade pineapple ice cream, very tasty and refreshing.
To finish, a decaf and a super tasty blackberry liqueur.
Service, simple, effective, practical, enlightening, friendly and, above all, not always on top of the customer, being very timely!
I highly recommend it!

Very average food, expensive in general. The Angus steak was a little dry for my taste, they didn't ask what point I wanted it. The black pudding is very good. The service didn't care about making themselves understood (we are Spanish), they kept saying things in Portuguese and quickly and you understood it if you could. We believe that there are better and much cheaper places with a more central location.
