Traditional home cooking at traditional prices. Two very generous dishes + 2 desserts + coffees + drinks + cheese starter (delicious) with bread, €33. To access the restaurant you have to climb some stairs entering through the door on the right and only enter the dining room, we saw local people from the town eating in the restaurant: a very good sign. Highly recommended???

If you want to go out for a classic and rustic meal, this is the place for you. Very nice, familiar, small restaurant. You won't get very far with English, but the owner will try very hard to explain the dishes to you or recommend one. It was a nice experience for us. Oh yes, the food was also really good and very cheap. Recommendation from me, the passion fruit liqueur ???

Excellent in relation to quality, price and taste of the food. Tuna belly, grilled squid and stewed meat are among the favorites.

04/15/2024 -> A friend's birthday lunch. I had the impression that I had been to this restaurant many years ago (Restaurante Económico). I still had this question to be completely clarified ?. The dining area is on the top floor, where we have to climb some stairs to find the dining room. Something peculiar is the fact that the drinks come on request from "upstairs" to the bar "downstairs" and a gentleman comes later to bring them ?. The starters were good and the main dishes were generous in protein. It should be noted that the dose of rice was "too" small. The dessert, which I was told was made from Toblerone, was divine ??. The most interesting thing I would say is the precarious. It is rare to find this price-quality balance in inflationary times. So for this reason alone I recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice meal at a low cost ?

We had the Portuguese stew and tuna steak. The portions were delicious, huge, and very affordable! Would definitely recommend. Just one note-- the restaurant is on the second level, not the main level.

One of the best restaurants I have been to in Ponta Delgada. The service was great and food was very well made. You can see that the owner runs the place with passion.

The proprietor was welcoming and friendly. Accepts cash, no credit card facility. He guided me to get some cash from atm at Repsol nearby. Parking may be a challenge when area is busy.

Not the fanciest restaurant, but very good food and a very nice host. He barely speaks English but you get by.To get to the restaurant go through the right door and up the stairs. The door on the left is for the bar. But it is also connected on the inside.
