We were headed toward another restaurant that was in all the guide books but walked by and liked the vibe here. Two menus awaited, one more Asian inspired and the other more in line with European cuisine. Three appetizers, three entrees, and one dessert later there was no question of the rightness of our serendipitous choice. Great atmosphere, professional service, and the best meal of our trip. No photos because we were enjoying the experience too much to pull out the phones. Bravo

My warmest recommendations. Absolutely fantastic food, at least the Japanese of which we had 4 different dishes. The taste was perfect, the dish was nice and delicate and the two waiters were relaxed but still with a pleasant respect for us being customers/guests. If you are in doubt about what to eat for dinner in the Azores, choose this place.
Impressed with the food, decor and service here! The experience was upscale without being stuffy and the servers were very patient and excellent with our young children. Dishes were lovely and well-presented.
A fantastic place, the service was excellent, the environment was very nice, before starting they offered a glass and a canapé which already hinted at the quality of the dinner. Price a little higher than the city average, but definitely worth it!

The staff were somewhat arrogant and not very pleasant. We ordered beef sirloin and chicken breast with fruit. The portions were decent and the quality was acceptable, but the presentation was nothing special. They forgot to bring us the water we ordered and served a different long drink than what we requested. The food was passable for a regular meal, but don't go for this as your last meal on the island...
