The food was very good. We ordered tuna to be cooked on the stone and cuttlefish which were very good. The white wine lemonade with pineapple was also very delicious. The charming and central terrace and the spectacular service.

Very central place with outdoor tables, reservations recommended.
Good meat and average dishes.
Price quality in line with Ponta Delgada

We went because of the good reviews, and while we were waiting for the food, the truth was that people only came in wanting to make reservations for lunch or dinner.
We ordered fries - mistake and the octopus - delicious and very good relationship between quantity, quality and price.
Of course...it should be noted that we were one of the first to eat there that day and we saw a large flying cockroach walking across the floor...shortly after...one grazed my partner on the leg...and now...we didn't eat completely calm...somewhat on alert...even so what was said...but to repeat...I have my doubts

Sadly I couldn’t enjoy the same experience of others reviewers.
I had to wait between 20 and 30 minutes to order even if the place wasn’t full.
The appetizer was a local cheese selection and it was good but the main dish (the beef steak) was of poor quality and the fries were cold (I mean really cold, like they had been out of the fryer for 30 minutes and they weren’t even completely cooked). For that reason I asked the waitress if they could at least re-heat them and she answered me quite rudely that it wasn’t possible because, and I quote, “our fries are like that”.
So, I ate what I could and asked to pay right away. Little you know, there was a mistake on the receipt, which they corrected but showed quite well the general trend of the service.
What a pity!

Great experience, first time on Azores and for the first time tried some local food. Thanks reviews, we ate here, and we were not disappointed. Service was brilliant, so kind and helpful, we enjoyed every second there. Had a white wine from Pico and a rewarded meal ?octopus ?and then another bottle ... delicious ?

We arrived at 12:3, as it says on the schedule. After waiting for more than half an hour and getting into a long queue, they came out to tell us that they only open at 6:30 p.m. Outrageous!!
Simple place, with very friendly service and very tasty food, well priced. I went alone and arrived quite early, so I got a table. But from what I could see, if you don't arrive very early or don't have a reservation, it's difficult to get a place. Variety of meats, fish, pasta, etc.
Very cordial and professional treatment at the same time, curious place and good price, and fresh and very tasty food. Recommendable!

We had dinner with reservation (they allow reservations, unlike most popular restaurants in S Miguel, it's very good!) and we loved it. It helped that we stayed in a sheltered room, the atmosphere was calm and the employee who served us was super attentive and in a good mood! The fish soup is divine and we ate it mixed on the stone (tuna, fillet and rump), very tasty. We recommend!

The octopus was amazing, 100% recommended. I recommend making a reservation or going there right when they open because otherwise it's always very full. They only do one meal shift.

This place is absolutely amazing. Best so far in Azores. We had Octopus on the roof, grill skewer and tuna. Try to book as soon as you arrive since this place is quite small and very popular.

Very nice and popular restaurant. The service was extremely attentive and friendly.
Unfortunately our tapas didn't come at the same time but rather in "bits and drabs"...
But overall very tasty! I recommend reserving a table before visiting.

It was a disastrous experience, it took them a long time to serve us the food, more than an hour...we ordered the black pudding with pineapple and it came burnt, the prawns very soggy, and after a while the bread...(which we ordered several times because they forgot...) and for If that were not enough, they charged us 7 euros for each beer we had…. A total of €64 32 per person… not recommended.

The kindness of the owners alone is worth the dinner, but fortunately it is also accompanied by delicious dishes and an authentic environment. I'm not even going to tell you what to try: get inspired by their excellent menu!
Wheelchair accessibility: You have to go down a small ramp, but you can also enter in a wheelchair

Best meal we had in Sao Miguel. Got lucky with only a 20 min wait. Service and food were second to none!!! Highly recommend!
