super cool place. Went there yesterday with my wife. Decent tapas size (2-3 per person, we ate two each). The garden at the back is amazing and worth enjoying with food and drinks. The only thing I could be picky on is there were no IPA beers (I wasn't expecting any tbh, it's rare here). I had a cocktail instead, very nice and totally worth walking a bit further out of the main touristy area! Totally a different vibe :-)
Vegetarian options: there some vege options (patatas bravas, padron peppers, etc)
Kid-friendliness: there was families around. The staff was very friendly with kids, and it's spacious enough in the garden so they have space to play

This is hands down one of the best places to have a meal in S. Miguel. The vibe is top notch, staff is super nice and helpful, and the food is just... amazing! Always a pleasure to go back and have a great evening!

It was the first day in the Azores. We didn't know where to go and everything was full. By chance we came to this place. They welcomed us without a reservation at a shared marble table, there were 12 people eating at it. The service is very attentive and respectful. The food is a mix between Mediterranean and Asian. Very good flavors but with a very spicy touch. (You have to ask for the spicy touch and cilantro to taste, otherwise they are too much...) and also, the portions are small. The price-quality ratio is a little high but it is well worth it. For the first day, we loved it. We will try to repeat later.

Small restaurant very close to the center of Ponta Delgada. It has a very nice garden with different tables to dine or have a drink while you wait. Small portions, but very well prepared. We liked everything we tried. Furthermore, they treated us great, a real pleasure. Thank you so much.
A very correct waiter but the effeminate one was unpresentable. He is easily recognized because, among other things, he sits next to you to take notes and also makes a thousand disapproving gestures, which he shouldn't have, such as pouting when ordering the medium-sized beers, since he didn't think it was right that we didn't want to. the large format, from there it went from bad to worse. He made us feel quite uncomfortable with his gestures and slights. It was like not to return. The food was very correct. The price was somewhat high for the small quantity they serve.

We walked in and made eye contact with one of the bar staff members. He gave a disgusted look and started shaking his head immediately like we were the worst thing that happened to him that day. I understand being overworked and understaffed, but it was clear we were not welcome there. When we asked for a table for two, we were told “we’re full, use your eyes.” There was a table that opened up as we left. They did not want us to wait. If you are lgbtq+, look elsewhere.
