We had three visits here and we would keep coming back! Service is extremely fast and friendly, the views couldn't be more beautiful, and the food was always delicious. The prices are also so fair and there isn't anything I feel that could be improved. This will be a favorite of our trip to Madeira.
Very nice place by the sea. Delicious bolo de caco, the best eaten on the island, nice crunchy outside and soft inside. Unfortunately we had a terrible paella. Exaggeratingly abundant, presented well but certainly defrosted at the moment…. Overcooked rice and bad fish in a strange mix (we also found a large piece of surimi inside... what does this have to do with paella?) Even the morsels of meat (chicken and pork) taste really bad. Sin… We tried to chase away the bad taste with a decidedly delicious rum. Rather expensive, I don't think we will return.

This is a great restaurant for a drink while you enjoy the view, specially for sunset. The waiter was good and very friendly but the food was not that great. Also used to be a lot cheaper when i visited a few years ago and if it would meet the quality offered i wouldn't mind the price. We ordered a mix of fish for 2 persons (for more than 40 euros) that was overcooked fried fish. We also ordered shrimps, squids, sides of corn and fries. The squids were not good at all even more for a 30 euro squid plate that was very rubbery. I eat in Germany in the Italian or Greek restaurants good baby squids for 16 - 24 eur. Might have been just a bad day but they have to be more careful with the quality of the food offered if they want customers to return. Still a great place to visit for the nice panoramic views and sunsets.
