I was walking around Ponta do Sol with my husband, my mother and my dogs, so we chose a random place to have a drink and a snack. We sat in this place because it looked good with the beer theme.
My husband chose a traditional Portuguese dark beer (despite being a place specialized in beers, they only had Coral and not Super Bock). My mother had a chinesa (coffee with milk) and I ordered a Coca Cola Zero with lime but since I didn't have any I asked for a plain Zero.
When the drinks arrived, the girl got confused and brought regular Coca Cola instead of Zero, although she made the change at the moment. In all of Madeira they give you a tapa, a “dentinho” with the beer and here that was not the case, which surprised me.
We ordered 2 wraps, one with salmon with Philadelphia cheese and another with tuna to share. It took them about 20 minutes to bring them. During this time we were able to see how they put “dentinhos” on other tables, which was uncomfortable since it didn't seem fair to me that some did and others didn't. I wanted to ask the girl who served us but she was always busy or if she passed by she walked quickly and so time passed and I let it pass...
Finally the wraps arrived. I asked them to cut them because they were to share. Another 10 minutes easily passed until they were brought back. JUST BY CUTTING THEM IN HALF.
When they finally arrive and we go to eat, what a surprise... I ordered salmon wrap with all the excitement and salmon NOT FOUND! It looked like a vegetarian wrap with so much lettuce, cabbage and onion. I'm simply sharing the photos so they speak for themselves. Almost €7 for a lettuce wrap. It is a joke. The tuna one was also a little off but at least it tasted something like tuna.
I didn't make a complaint because honestly, the experience since we arrived felt bad. Denigrated with the issue of dentinho, errors in the order, they took too long with the food, which by the way was BAD! I will just say that the Chinese coffee my mother had was good, creamy as it should be, but the rest was quite disappointing and I doubt I will go to this place again.

One of the best craft beer locations on the island and definitely the best outside of Funchal.
This lovely little bar is located in a small alley, right next to a couple of good restaurants, which allows you to enjoy a good meal together with the craft beer of choice.
The beer selection on tap is good and complemented by a large bottle selection for which the knowledgeable staff can help you find your favourite. Highly recommended when in the area!

Very bad experience. They gave me an aperol that didn't taste like aperol, it was pure Prosecco and I asked them if I could change it for something else. They said yes and then overcharged me. Very unfriendly and taken advantage of.

Great bar selling a range of beers including their own in a lovely setting in Ponta do Sol. Bars staff really lovely and helpful with beer choices. Cool too with rock soundtrack , graphics, and a welcome change from tourist banality.Thank you guys, great bar, great beers.

It has a huge beer choices (250 at the time of our visit), as well as one of the most finest drinks from all over the world (rum, whiskey, gin..). Our waiter Rui was great, dedicated and with immersive knowledge about everything in their huge offer. When in Ponta do sol, check this place. And yes, prices for some beers and drinks are higher which is expected and pretty common when you drink something special.

It has a huge beer choices (250 at the time of our visit), as well as one of the most finest drinks from all over the world (rum, whiskey, gin..). Our waiter Rui was great, dedicated and with immersive knowledge about everything in their huge offer. When in Ponta do sol, check this place. And yes, prices for some beers and drinks are higher which is expected and pretty common when you drink something special.
