Restaurant with an old appearance but where the food has surpassed that element.
Some very well served Minho-style rojões, as is the bitoque.

Once at the restaurant, for lunch for 2 people.
After 15 minutes I got up and left. Two tables entered after me, and were served...
When I said why I was leaving, the answer I got was "you can leave", I didn't even receive an apology...
Very bad...

It's really only the food that got away with it. Terrible service, waitresses very unprepared, not at all trouble-free. We were really lucky to arrive a few minutes before 12pm, because we still waited 50 minutes for the first dish! Lines of people waiting, some with reservations and no reserved table! We had to explain a simple order of 4 coffees 3 times. Right at the beginning of the meal they ask if they can seat a couple at our table, obviously we didn't refuse. From then on, they treated the couple as if they were part of our table, that is, they forgot to serve bread and olives, they indicated the order alongside ours, they served everything mixed together and when the bread and olives actually arrived, 1 dry bread for 2 arrived. people.Upon leaving once again we noticed the line of people waiting to eat and the room with more than 3 tables to be lifted and cleaned.I don't recommend it even though the food was fantastic.

Very well located, with views of the river for those staying close to the windowsThe service is very good and the service is very efficientThe food is very well prepared. I recommend the Rojões à Minhota, the house specialty and the most popular dish. The house wine is very good too

The worst cod I have ever eaten in Portugal. Reheated potatoes, and the worst thing is that there were few people to justify it.

It's reasonable. The service sucks, I don't think I've ever seen such slow service in my entire life. It's not that they are too unfriendly, but the slowness is extreme. The meat itself is good. However, prices are slightly higher than they should be.In short, it's not the best restaurant in Ponte da Barca, but it's not bad. For those who are hungry, and have time, it is an option to consider, especially when in other restaurants the queue reaches the street. Here, in principle, there are always places available.
