Restaurant away from the tourist area (near Carrefour) that you must specifically go to. We hadn't booked and we had to wait but I assure you it was worth it. The dishes do not detract from the name of the restaurant at all. The winery is very acceptable. It is worth going away a little to visit, but remember to book.

Excellent lunch at an excellent price. We had lunch there today after wandering around searching for something outside the tourist areas. Set menu with choice of three fish dishes or three meat dishes. The price was 11euros for soup,a main, a drink and bread or 13 euros if you also had dessert. My husband had a huge dorado/ bream which came with delicious boiled baby potatoes and a salad. I had the duck rice , a more than substantial oven dish with generous shredded duck all the way through and topped with cheese,superb. The desserts i think were the biggest surprise, a fridge with a choice of homemade delights. I had a pavlova and my husband a baked apple with fruit, both delicious. With half a carif of wine and a non alco beer the total for everything was 26 euros, unbelievable quality of food, we would happily have paid double. The staff were very friendly and organised. We really did have the perfect holiday Friday lunch. Thank you.

I ordered 3 chickens to take out. They advised me that chicken with suckling pig sauce was the house specialty. Received limited lack of professionalism, one package, paid €20.30! I had seen the price of €6.50 for chicken, normally €19.50. After checking the receipt, check the packaging twice (I have no idea if I should pay for two packaging, it must be the dish + the lid) Very disappointed, like everyone at home, (8) we have never seen such a small chicken. ?♀️

We stopped in Ponte de Lima and went to try this place to eat. All very rich and quality. It was quite busy and we had to wait 20 minutes but it was worth it. They have a bathroom adapted for people with reduced mobility and a changing table for children. They also have high chairs for children to eat. I would definitely repeat
