Most typical dinner you can have in Oporto. Two elder women will cook for you dishes with the original receipt, in a cozy, small restaurant that will let you feel as you are in your grandma’ house. Best experience I had in Portugal!
We would rate this 10 stars if we could! Dinner was an amazing experience. The dining area is super small, giving it a family feel. It was like eating at my Portuguese great-grandmother's house and the owner's made it feel cozy and comfortable. The decor added to the terrific ambiance. The food was every bit as nice. The seafood rice was loaded with clams, shrimp, fish, and flavor. The franceshinha especial was the best I've ever had. Both could have been shared, and we still would have left full. As it was, we were rolling out the door because of so much food. My wife was given a cute little shopping bag as a parting gift. Highly recommended!
Very tiny restaurant, found in a small street of Porto, a bit outside of the tourist hectic area. So the real Porto is welcoming you in an authentic place for a great diner. Maria does everything there but mostly holding the kitchen. She is the great chef after real Portuguese Bacalhau. You can’t just miss that. It is not a high class restaurant; so if you are looking for porch touristic places, just keep walking down the street. But here it’s real Portugal with a lady who knows how to welcome people (mostly in Portuguese language). A great moment spent with few nice people around.
I ate some breaded bread and it was really good!

As saladas são sempre super coloridas e saborosas ?? Para não falar das Bifanas e dos Panadinhos ? Ps: o bagacinho com mel é top ?

I was very well looked after, I really enjoyed the food and had a good atmosphere.
I really liked the meal was very good I highly recommend
The food was excellent. An absolutely recommendation ? The only thing what was a bit negative was the service. They did not ask if we would like to have a coffee or a desert and did not clean up the table. But the food and the location was great!

Authentic comfort-food! And thanks for warm knitted slippers i received as a gift! Great start of our holiday ❤
Today I ate here the best Bacalhau in the world. I'm heartily recommend to everyone, who like good cuisine, to visit this small and kind warm place.
What a great find! I was walking around exploring the neighborhood and ran across the Tasquinha. This place is the real deal. Traditional Portuguese food served in a small space, making everything feel like you’re at a friends house for dinner. I had the Bacalhau a Braga (pan fried cod with potatoes and onions) and a couple glasses of the house white wine. It was a great meal. I will certainly go back and probably try everything on the menu at some point. While very close to the tourist section, it is off the beaten path and offers great food at a very reasonable price.
This quaint family style restaurant is small (maybe 4 tables max), but your delicious saving grace when you’re hungry during Siesta hours (3-7 pm) and there’s no place to eat in town. This hole in the wall will impress you with its home cooking. The cod croquetas (Bolinhos de bacalhau) were by far the best I’ve ever had and the cod (Bacalhau) was incredible. Thank you very much Maria do Carmu, Armando, and Fernanda for feeding us and taking care of us! Muito Obrigada!
