“On our last morning in Lisbon we stopped for a pastry and coffee before leaving for Porto on the train. This was in our neighborhood, a few blocks from our hotel. We bought egg sandwiches that we ate on the sidewalk seating outside the restaurant. The bustle of people with places to go and things to do was a different vibe than we had experienced during the rest of our visit. The food was OK ... not fancy, but also not too expensive.“

“Very welcoming restaurant, very well decorated, typical Alentejo
The food was delicious - from the starters (bread, olives, black pork sausage) to the main courses (we ordered dogfish soup and codfish bread soup), to dessert (with typical sweets, all “eat and cry for more”).
The portions are very good, very generous.
All dishes with excellent presentation.
The service was very professional and very welcoming
I recommend it without a doubt“

“Very friendly and welcoming. The ideal place to have a snack at Ponte de Sôr. Good price-quality ratio.
Kid-friendliness: Integrated into a garden, with plenty of space for children to play. It has a duck pond, protected to prevent accidental falls.“

“(Translated by Google) It took a while but the food was very good. The soup is wonderful. The Alentejo meat is a little vinaigrette but good. Very good fruit salad.(Original)Um pouco demora mas a comida estava muito boa. A sopa uma maravilha. A carne a alentejana um pouco envinagra mas boa. A salada de frutas muito boa.“

“I came to eat Lúcio perch, which is the house specialty, but as I came late there was no more, the cuttlefish were good, the squid kebab was a little too elastic, the roe crumbs were divine. The atmosphere is very good, the staff are friendly and always attentive.“

“5* food 5* service. To repeat again. Family restaurant, typical of the area. Great food, excellent value for money. Not too fancy (as I usually say) but the best. We love it and as soon as we return to these parts we will definitely pay another visit.“
“We had to wait for our car to be repaired at the local machanics so we took the family for some breakfast and coffee to kill some time. Although they only do scrambled eggs on toast the breakfast was really pleasant, coffee was great, the kids enjoyed cheese and ham toasties and freshly squeezed orange juice and we have plans to go back again as we complete our great vacation in the Algarve. Lots of delicious pastries to choose from too. Indoor and outdoor seating and a clean bathroom. You can pay with an Apple Pay too. The owner Carina used to have her own cafe on the outskirts of Paris but this has a lovely Portuguese charm to it. Staff very friendly and speak some English and French as far as I know“

“We liked it. It's a very nice space because next to it is the weekend market and on the other side of the room a beautiful view into the interior of Alentejo. We also ate very well. The only thing to criticize is the wine we had which was not good but we said and the waiter replaced it immediately with a new bottle, so very good family time (to be returned).“
