An idyllic setting... but improved service! Attention all lovers of picturesque landscapes and atypical service!
A dream setting with breathtaking views of the river, ideal for a moment of escape... provided you have a lot of humility.
Arriving a little before 2 p.m., we were told that the kitchens closed in 1 hour, and that there was no room there. On vacation, we decide to wait despite the waiter's pout, 3 tables are on ice cream and finished within 5 minutes! Finally installed 30 minutes later, after a group arrived well after us (the race for places was tough!) and clearly we were not welcome. Innovative service, they throw the cutlery and placemats on the table. It’s up to us to train!
But what a taste surprise! Despite limited access to the menu, we imagine because the kitchen will soon close even wines, that's stranger... The dishes, although simple, were divinely cooked and presented with care. A real treat for the taste buds! It's a shame that the experience was a little spoiled by the somewhat... recalcitrant service.
More seriously, the setting is truly magnificent and the cuisine seems worth the detour. But if you're looking for quiet, attentive service, give it a try.

All the food was fabulous and the quality was noticeable. We ate scrambled eggs with farinheira and a spinach and farinheira burger. For dessert, an ivory pudding and a chocolate and almond brownie, also spectacular. Relaxing and peaceful music, very welcoming and comfortable space... very friendly service. When around 2pm we thought we would no longer be able to eat in Ponte de Sor as everything was full, we tried this place without much expectation. When we arrived at the place it was not very busy, which made our meal even more peaceful and perfect. Super relaxing environment, with a very beautiful landscape. It definitely deserved 5 stars. I don't give more because it's the best. To be repeated, without a doubt. Congratulations. The price was adequate (+- 15€/person).

I don't know if it was a day when the main cook wasn't there or not, but my experience here wasn't good.Dish: Bolognese tortellini. I was presented with a plate of tortellini that looked like the kind you buy in the supermarket, without any bolognese, and they filled the plate with cream and the dish tasted nothing but cream. I caught the attention of the employee who turned his back on me, I thought it was rude, at least he accepted constructive criticism but he ignored it.Dessert: crunchy lime mousse. To begin with, I don't understand why it said crunchy in the name when they handed me a bowl of whipped condensed milk that didn't taste like lime, without any crunch.Big disappointment
