Japanese gastronomy to discover! Truly delicious. The setting is very pleasant with the possibility of eating on the terrace. The team takes great care.

We sat at the Teppenyaki bar with the kids and had a great time. The chef is super entertaining and passionate about his work. The food was also delicious. I had the Wagyu steak (pictured below before, during and after grill) and it did not disappoint.
Chef Allen is great, me and my husband took a set menu with the cooking show ?Food is amazing, we liked every dish, atmosphere is great, thank you

Mizu Teppanyaki is a wonderful, wonderful experience. We visited twice this week and we've been several times before. What always strikes me is two things. One, the team are so personable and so friendly. They take every moment to make you feel welcomed, happy, and cared for. My wife has celiac disease, so it's quite severe and it's important to make sure that she feels safe and can eat healthy, suitable food. They take every care to clearly label everything and they also ask different details to make sure that everything is exactly as it needs to be. The food is healthy, very tasty, and delicious, but the personable service from everyone and the warm reception is outstanding. It's something you can't experience somewhere else. Now, this is within Villa Vita Resort and honestly, everybody here is outstanding from a service and a hospitality and a warmth perspective. Very few places in the world can bring full warmth and full energy to making your experience feel good, but here they do this every single time. I highly recommend so many of the dishes here, but Mizu Teppanyaki is a gorgeous place, well worth your visit in the Algarve.

This was sold to us and advertised as one of the new "fine dining" options at Vila Vita, which is an absolutely amazing resort. However, a couple of their new places Mizu and Giordinos (their new Italian option) have some real growing pains before it is worth a visit. The scenery from the outer terrace is great, but that's about all you can say. The food is average at best, ambience kitschy and very small portions at a very high price point. After being upsold on an expensive bottle of sake, the bill ended up being 800 euros for very little satiation, and what was provided was average quality with no wow factor, and your local sushi bar could rival or exceed. Staffing is a major concern and they will need to figure things out or else people won't go. There are better options at Vila, which again, is an amazing, amazing resort which we highly recommend, but for dining they need to stick with local cuisine unless they have the staffing, menu and chef's who specialize in the cuisine offered. Adega, Aladin and Ocean are fantastic places on site. Adega, their Portuguese option, punched out of its weight class and is 1/4 of the price of Mizu. Even Vila Joya another 2 star place just down the road was similar price point to Mizu. Staff was very friendly at MIzu, but its all kitsch (from the decor and uniforms) and needs some revamping. You are better served at the other places mentioned, or there are some other better off site local places to check out. Get some Piri Piri at Ramirez or head to Evaristo down the road for an amazing, reasonably priced meal on the beach.

Mizu Teppanyaki is a very special restaurant, and we were lucky to be there on a unique night with 3 extraordinary chefs: not only the stars of the house Diogo Ribeiro & Antonio Muniz, but special guest Paulo Alves from Kabuki, Ritz Lisbon plus dessert by Isabel Nobre. An 8 course menu delivered steadily over 2 hours with an excellent Arinto from the Vidigueira region was one of our best gastronomic experiences ever: delicious, delicate, explosions of taste and texture! And with excellent surprises! This fabulous experience was paired by a very professional team, where Tiago made the difference in a relaxed and entertaining way.

Mizu was a beautiful experience. We decided to go with the a la carte menu and even though the portions are small, the fish is super fresh, delicious and the plates are beautifully presented. The service is top notch, I felt like I was back in Japan. The yellowfish was one of our favorites and the Toro sashimi was the best I've ever tried.Definitely recommend!

Wonderful view and a great meal. The eel roll was ?. The sashimi was so fresh. Everything was a delight. Great service! One thing that is a bit difficult to understand for those who haven’t stayed before at this resort is how the restaurants work. This one and Ocean (Michelin ⭐️) are the finest dining options. The meal was 2+ hours and very well paced. Definitely recommend sitting outside to have the ocean view and totally worth the price. Places like the Oasis Bar are resort casual and serve food. Then, there are restaurants in between. Definitely recommend reservations for Mizu.

(Translated by Google) Good Japanese. However, without real highlights neither in the service nor in the gastronomy. Nicely embedded in the Vila Vita Parc!Just a few steps from our room. Children from 6 years are welcome. Can you go?(Original)Guter Japaner.
Wonderful meal. Such attention to detail. Don't miss the ribs. I would go back and just have 5 orders of ribs ?.We also hade the tempura shrimp roll, the sirloin steak and the chicken skewers. Everything was wonderful.
