My girlfriend took me here for my birthday, and what an amazing experience it was! The service was world class, and so was also the food. The concert was unbelievable good. Three different singers performed, each with an unique style. The owner of the restaurant was amazing and his passion for food and fado was so evident when he talked to us about the different dishes and artists. He was very happy to hear that I am a big fan of fado music, so he even gave me a list of different artist I have to check out. I wish to thank everyone in the staff for making my birthday so special. Muito obrigado and I hope to see you soon again!

Highly recommended especially to celebrate a special occasion. (They also catered obligingly for our special dietary requirements.)

While O Faia Restaurant claims to welcome 6-year-old children, they confirmed that they do not have a children's menu and that the price for children is the same as for adults. If you have children, I recommend checking out Povo Lisboa as they were 100 percent more accommodating.
Edit: whether it be a fado venue, a theme park or a plane ticket, offering a reduced price for children if they’re allowed entry showcases a venue or company’s welcoming family setting - which evidently surpasses money concerns. From all places we’ve visited that purport to welcome children, this has been the most hostile to feedback.
