Quiet and pleasant place in Portoalegre. We ate on the way to Braga and it was very good. Unbeatable treatment, the very friendly owner, decoration about the world of bullfighting without fanfare, good food and a reasonable price.

We spontaneously asked for a table. The restaurant was actually fully booked but the owner offered us a table from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. until the table was occupied. We weren't easy guests but he took great care of us and explained all the cuts of the meat to us. The food was extremely good. I have rarely eaten such a simple, delicious dish. Unfortunately we were only in Portalegre for one day. Definitely visit. Regional authentic food at the highest level. A lasting experience.

Food well prepared and well plated. The staff is very friendly and it has a family atmosphere. The entire decoration is very interesting and related to the bullfighting environment. The restaurant goes unnoticed and it's best to leave your car in the parking lot, outside the historic area and get around on foot. It was a pleasant surprise.

I arrived at 1:30 pm on Monday, without an appointment, when I asked if there was a table they told me no, I asked about the waiting time and was told that it would be complicated as all the tables were at the beginning of the meal. If they didn't want to serve any more customers, despite closing at 3:30 pm it was a very quick way for them to send us away. I certainly won't try to have lunch here again when I'm in Portalegre
