The food was very well cooked and delicious (we had pork belly and cockerel). The service was very good and the place itself is beautiful. The food is a bit pricey but considering how tasty it was it was and how good the service was, it was worth the money.
Everything's good! Historic space, half sophisticated, half rustic, impeccable service and wonderful food. It's a shame to be 250km from home, but that's it, I came here on purpose and with new friends for sure. Many congratulations to the owners, the waiters and whoever is in that kitchen, who must be very ahead of the curve for the quality that was served. ??
Alentejo food with a twist, very well executed. We ordered for main dishes weak bread (19eurs) and pork belly (18eurs). Both were delicious, but the star of the lunch was the weak, wonderful seasoning. The service could improve, the customer service is poor, we almost felt like an unwelcome guest. The desserts are diverse and typical, we chose the apple boleira with ice cream (6.5eurs).The decoration of the restaurant is very well done and comfortable.
