An authentic Portuguese restaurant with a windmill bakery in the outskirts of Evora. Our Day Trip driver brought us to the highly acclaimed restaurant, difficult to get a reservation but he managed. A traditional rustic interior with welcoming staff, and a menu new to us. We challenged our taste buds with pigs feet , pigs head cheese, and shark soup( not to be confused with shark fin soup). There was also very yummy bean fritters and a tasty dessert Sericaia. A wonderful experience.
The food was not only delicious but also exuded a rustic charm that left a lasting impression. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by a warm and cozy ambiance, complete with traditional Portuguese décor and friendly staff.
The best place in Evora for a family dinner. Rustic atmosphere, a very friendly reception and service. Food is delicious (even bread is in-house made). The old mill nearby (it is till operating!) adds to the great charm of the place. Pity that it was our last evening, otherwise we could have more dinners in this beautiful place.
