My favourite restaurant in Portimao- Praia da Rocha. Very good eating and wines, fantastic family’s service. I recommend this place.

Returned after a number of years and it was so good to find that it was as great as before. Good food and wine. Still reasonably priced too. Best Portuguese steak ever. Visited 3 evenings. Looking forward to next year. Well done to the family.

This comfortable restaurant serves simply prepared and exceptionally tasty seafood. Portion size is impressive with friendly service and good value. Family owned and run. We were also served a small complimentary homemade cherry liqueur at the end of our meal which was a nice touch.

Great food, great staff and great location. We went there for dinner and the food was delicious and the staff were very efficient. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection and my husband had the grilled Seabass. It was all beautiful.

Been visiting Praia do Vau for over 20 years and certainly in the last 10 years this is our go to restaurant. Excellent food and a very welcoming family. The red house wine is excellent too ?????????

Good cousins and very fresh and tasty sardines and squid. Kitchen was quick (we have dinner at rush-hour). Traditional Portuguese dishes were made with love

Very tasty sea food, very polite and friendly owner and staff. Desserts were also great, the atmosphere is traditional and comfortable.

Salty food(God Portugese style) bad staff attitude. I eventually went to this restaurant as its near my residence. I read reviews which indicated that it might be good place to dine. Unfotunately my experiense iwas 100% opposite. Food was so salty that it was uneatable. I returned it with complain, but... then staff started to argue that it is normal and I have poor taste. Then they even tried to charge me for the dish, which I didn't eat and returned. They called me poor person and insulted more. I don't know what were they expecting by insulting customer, but I urge anyone to avoid that place. Ther's much more friendly and better restaurants in Portimao.

The best food we had in Portimao, highly recommended. The staff is friendly and attractive. The food is fresh and tasty.

Lovely spot, the garlic prawns are delicious! Salads and fish dishes all lovely and fresh, and the staff are so nice. Very accommodating of us and our 6month old baby just learning to eat food! :D
