So dinner on a Friday evening almost an hour to be served because many customers at 8:30 p.m. the setting is beautiful facing the sea ? you have to arrive early to get a place on the terrace. Correct meals, a good 2 canvases

The octopus à lagareiro was excellent, and so was the view. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for two employees coming up to me and asking if someone had installed us or if we had sat on the terrace overlooking the sea without asking. Next time, make sure you understand each other and don't throw yourself at customers like that.

Our starters were great.. prawns were amazing.. however the service was terrible. Our drinks waiter seemed to think it was OK to SLAM drinks down infront of you without saying anything. Also the menus were tacky and sticky grubby things that you might expect at a roadside cafe. The steaks and sauces were tasteless.. we did eat them as we were starving by this point. Took over an hour from getting in to being actually served the food. The chips were terrible and everything was oily and greasy. I had better chips ? at macdonalds. All in all.. pretentious overpriced garbage. Do yourselves a favour.. and eat elsewhere. We will NOT be back.. nor would I recommend to anyone.

Portimão is my second home. We discovered monkfish pasta with prawns during the 2023 holidays. This year we returned to repeat the experience. We tried the monkfish pasta with prawns and at another dinner the monkfish rice with prawns I'm a fan of pasta but both dishes were great.
To avoid Bolognese pasta reheated in the microwave after waiting more than 45 minutes to get the dishes, frankly there is only sight that can save the restaurant

Restaurant with a beautiful view but with a little lack of service. We ordered appetizers which never arrived but were invoiced on the bill. Good quality meat and fish, shame about the enormous quantity of oil and cooking water of the vegetables in the dishes. The chicken in the chicken salad was almost inedible, too tough and stringy. Really slow service, perhaps due to too many customers and little organization.

There were 4 tables occupied but it took more than forty minutes to bring the food. Not recommended. The dishes were very apparent but the cuttlefish was very hard and the cod was dry and very salty. The meats were not bad. I certainly wouldn't go back.
