Last year I had the misfortune of coming to work at your restaurant and it was a terrible experience. I NEVER received my full payment, the payment was never within the corresponding legal period and finally a week or two ago they finished paying for the work I did for them last year, until October.
And they didn't pay because they wanted to, but I had to file a lawsuit through the court so they could pay me. And request the intervention of act, which by the way had no visible impact on the situation.
My boyfriend also worked there and to this day they owe him more than 100 euros. In short, the owners of this space are very opportunistic and profiteering. While it was summer and they were filling their pockets with money and you served them at work, they treated you well (even so they didn't pay properly) until the low season arrived and everything changed.
And well, that way I could continue listing the various situations of labor abuse that I could perceive in that location from different workers.
That is why I want to warn those who currently work and collaborate in the operation of the restaurant, since what I experienced I do not wish on anyone.
Do not be afraid to demand your rights and what really belongs to you, demand that your payment date be met, do not give away your work, your time and your energy, even when you are foreigners, work and good bosses will always be found, more In Praia da Rocha, the law always protects us.
And good for the owners of the establishment, they only face business and personal failure, since when you take advantage of people like this there is no way to achieve success.
Good to also mention that I lived in staff's house, which was also a terrible experience, cockroaches everywhere and my boyfriend and I paid 300 euros to live in a room with all the other shared spaces per month. What was never a favor, how they mentioned it on countless occasions and made you feel indebted for it, well that was my bad experience with these people.
Anyone who has any doubts about whether this is true or a lie, please talk to me and I could continue detailing unpleasant situations that I experience there.
Well, finally, from so much chaos I was only left with the strength and courage I had by not remaining silent and allowing the abuse of working without pay.
My entire story is true and I have the evidence to back it up.
Success and colleagues, look for another job.

We went there twice during our vacation and were extremely satisfied both times. The staff is very courteous and nice, the food is excellent and the restaurant is very tastefully decorated. On the first evening we were entertained by a young talented singer who sang in Portuguese and English, on the second by a saxophonist. The atmosphere was hard to beat. We can highly recommend a visit to everyone. Also because the price-performance ratio is absolutely right.

Don’t go here. Tasting menu sounded value for money. Its not.
Service not attentive despite lots of team going out their way to not make eye contact.
Tasting menu is not a tasting menu. You pick your starter and dessert and certainly don’t get a taste of everything offered.
Starter of cheese and meat croquettes were raw and cold. Sent back to wait around 20m for replacement.
Tasting plate of various rump steak and allegedly rib eye was tepid and not rested and served on a wooden board and the plates were cold so didn’t hold any temperature. Meat tough and grisley.
Sides were served separately and chips were also served cold.
Desserts offered too more than 15m to arrive so we left. Tried to talk to manager and host who were too quick to pass us on to the waiter that served us. Absolutely no organisation and food not good. Avoid.

Very good service, got to say it’s best steak that I have eaten. Can only hope that the chefs can do for you what they did for us and wasn’t a 1 off! Really really good!!

We arrived and we already loved the style of the restaurant! The background music, the outdoor and indoor area are very cozy. Now, my God, the food was wonderful and it has Antarctic guarana ? lol. It is worth mentioning that the service with Diessica made everything more pleasant. Ultimately, it's worth the visit.

This place was all sorts of super epic. Ate there last Tuesday while on a business trip. We had the steak tasting menu, which was amazing value and thoroughly recommend it. I repeat; get the tasting menu. Do not be fooled by the regular dishes. It's a trap. You will miss out of the tasting menu if you order these.

Over the course of a couple of visits I've eaten in about 10 of the local restaurants and this one is my favourite by some distance.

The real highlight (other than the steak) was the waiter, who was like some kind of comedy genius. A real breath of fresh air who regaled us with amusing anecdotes and had an incredibly relaxed approach to not charging for a larger beer than we asked for.

We spent about 40 Euros per head, but this included a multi-course tasting menu and a few beers each. Certainly good value. Even better value as I was able to expense most of it.

Had dinner on Sunday night at about 20:00. There wasn't many people in but staff said it was due to being a turnaround day and other restaurants were quiet too. There was live music being played on saxophone which was good and added to atmosphere. The restaurant itself was well decorated and looked nice. We had the all you can eat which consisted of entrees or cheesy garlic bread strips, meatballs and cheeseballs and a chicken in a sweet and sour style sauce. They asked us when we were ready for mains which came on a wooden platter board four steaks cooked to your liking, fries, wedges, rice and beans they also asked if we would like a peppercorn sauce too. EVERYTHING was delicious from starter to main. The cheese and meatballs came with their own sauces too which were lovely. The meat was tender and fell apart and was flavoured beautifully. There was not one part of the food that was distasteful. Probably one if not the best meal we have had in a long time and definitely not to be missed. The service was attentive with a good selection of beers, wines and also mineral water too. They said they were due to change the menu a little bit, which I guess was because it was such good value.. I don't think they could of made much on the all you can eat if you had people ordering more meat, but in my opinion there was more than enough served with good options and it included dessert, had the lemon mousse which was light and flavourful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The staff were attentive and did not go without drinks. There are a few steps to get up to the restaurant but seen the staff helping to carry pushchairs up them. I don't believe they could of done any more.
