You have to pay almost 30 euros for food, but a sheet of toilet paper was too much to ask. The staff seemed aggressive and did not give us 2 to 3 minutes to order food because the kitchen was supposedly closing but it remained open for another hour because people were still coming to eat late after we arrived.

Disappointing welcome at this bar today (20th July at 5.15pm). Me and 12 friends arrived just wanting a coffee. There were only 3 other tables filled, therefore leaving all of the other tables empty. The member of staff came to greet us and told us they have too many things to prepare so we would need to wait 30 minutes to even have our orders taken. Disappointing considering it was so quiet there.

Called in as a family of 8 and asked if we could just have a table for drinks, after an unenthusiastic look around an empty outside area waiter pointed to 4 x 2 seater tables. We realised there were only 7 seats. My son went to take a chair from another table only to be told no. No other chair was provided, even though we waited. No menu was provided either, after 5minutes we left. Not great service, won't be back for food.

We had an amazing dinner at Faina. It all started by a late night walk in Portimao looking for a nice place to eat. We arrived at the time of the closing of the kitchen, the waiter kindly asked the chef if it was ok to serve one last dish and he accepted.
Excellent service and food, romantic atmosphere and friendly staff.
I would definitely recommend this place.

I ordered codfish with vegetables. Hoping to eat a nice pice of fish at marina, I was already very disappointed when the dish arrived: it hat a patty form and chunks of fish were mixed with something that I didn’t even know what it was. I could hardly eat it and had a feeling of eating rest-overs… What an unpleasant experience for the price of a full dish! I went out disappointed and hungry ?

Great value for money for a lunch in Portimao! For 18€, we each had a starter, a main, a dessert, a drink and a coffee, absolute steal and with lovely views of the harbour! Highly recommend eating out on the teracce!

A pleasant surprise. Pleasant atmosphere and excellent food. The difference prevails in each dish.
Nice place near the harbour. First waiter unfriendly, second was slightly better. Food: steak was not asked how to cook, got well done. The lettuce that came with it was withered. Risotto was little and tasteless. Menu also did not suit our wishes. Only took main course.
