“We went on July 27 this year to the Taj Indian restaurant in Portimao. We were very well served by its owner and his team. The food is excellent. We recommend this restaurant if you like to have a little exoticism in your vacation.

“The experience went super super well, I'm not giving any more stars because there are no more than 5?

We went at 9pm, very well served, super attentive, we ate garlic shrimp, beef chops, cuttlefish and everything was divine, we also ate bitsoques, the only thing that would improve was the French fries which instead of being industrial would become homemade, but overall it went well. It's ok, you're super friendly, the environment is peaceful.
I will definitely be back.

“I called to reserve and we soon got a table in the middle of summer in July.
We sat down and were served with great attention and care, the gazpacho was freshly made!!! The main course was sea bass fillet with mashed potatoes. So tasty I almost ordered more! We'll be back for sure!
We are staying in Olhao and we didn't even know anything about this place. A jewel.

“It may take some time to be served and receive your order, as there is a lot of traffic.We tried the chicken and spare ribs, which were quite delicious and came directly from the grill onto our plate. It is worth it.Good quality-price ratio.“

“Simple and crazy good. Top home-made food that I tried in Portugal. Price to quality ratio is amazing, such big portions for relatively so little. Restaurant was closed but they have a bar open from the main street. If you look for something authentic, no hussle, that's the place. We ordered dish of the day, didn't even go through the menu.“

“Wonderful place. We were out for Portuguese food but got no place so went Indian. And this was a really phantastic experience, the food came quick and was very tasty. We had two lamb and a chicken dish and the sauces were delicious.
I also really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. They spoke a decent Portuguese as well, maybe even a bit unexpected but adds to the positive impression we got. Definitely recommended! It seemed nice for small children as well even though we only had our oldest son with us, who enjoyed the food and free WiFi.

“I come here whenever I’m in Carvoeiro, usually more than once every time I’m in the area. The food is fantastic, and the service is always really nice. I have never been disappointed by the choice to eat here and it wasn’t the last time! Big thumbs up.“

We stayed for a week in the area and had three evening meals there, that's how good it is. Some of the negative comments here are a bit odd. Go to relax and enjoy, with a little humor. “We were there twice. First time on site and second time we used uber eats. Both times the taste was a 10/10. Really good and the fries aren't stingy either. Of course it's not the cheapest way to get full, but the price was worth it. The Garlic Mayo was very strong and Bre behind the grill also accommodated individual requests. Just the ambience. I like sitting outside when the weather is good and there is at least a table in front of the shop, but only one and the table is much too high.“

“Very attentive staff, fantastic food and nice location!

There were a group of 7 of us and we had a mixed selection of starters and mains, with 3 of us having excellent steaks. All the food was top quality and cooked expertly. This is definitely a case of quality over quantity, and I’d recommend booking in to this excellent restaurant.

“We were late so lost our table and had to wait outside for an hour under the sweltering summer heat on the patio but we had drinks...It was worth the wait because the food was excellent and staff were super friendly and efficient. This individual has the name: Nelson Borges and here I come to send him a short message: "You are just a bad language because it is not the first comment of displeasure that I have read written by you in other restaurants from the region" that's why I recommend that those I know not receive it and as you know it's easy. He criticized without content and without a constructive idea. I feel like telling Mr. Nelson Borges that he got the scratch card and traveled for the first time. I was there the day Nelson Borges had lunch at MIRA RIO I WAS ALSO AND I HAD THE SAME DISH (Galinha de Cabidela) GET IT?
