Wonderful food and sensational service. The restaurant has been run by the same family for 5 generations and the family members themselves served us. They serve fresh seafood and the dishes are super tasty. I recommend ordering portions of shrimp as a starter and the corvina steak for the main course.
I highly recommend it!

Enjoyed a tapas style seafood meal. One word: AUTHENTIC. This was an amazing first impression of traditional Portuguese seafood. Vovó was cooking all the food while her husband and son delivered excellent service. Definitely a spot for the locals.

Former establishment dedicated to hospitality. Typical of fish and seafood. It also has meat. Somewhat old-fashioned. It has a terrace.

Inedible. At 2pm they let us sit down, they didn't say a word to us and we heard from another table that they were no longer serving.

I last ate there about 45 years ago. Was the absolute cult family restaurant. Simplest design. Neon lights on the ceiling. Simple Formica tables, with a paper on them. In addition to bread and olives, the envelope was always Tartex paste, a vegetarian paste as a dip for bread. Legendary. The ambience is still similar today, expectations were correspondingly high, especially since the whole thing is now called Marisqueria. One thinks of delicious seafood fresh from the fishing boat. Deliciously prepared in Portuguese. And extremely inexpensive. It's still tasty, although not as good as it was 45 years ago. But unfortunately not really cheap anymore. Still a nice evening.

Fresh sardines, baked cod and in general good dishes of the day, the lulas are served with tripe, badly. If you go a la carte, be careful with the price. The one who seems to be the owner, who doesn't serve, has the ugly habit of sitting and watching you eat.
