"THE PERFECT FISH AND CHIPS"I was out for a walk yesterday and I noticed this sparkling clean Restaurant. It was remarkable with fresh crisp white linen tablecloths on every table. It looked as clean as the surgical theatre in a hospital. So, I said to myself why not chance it for lunch.The lady hostess, namely, Rana, was extremely courteous and friendly.I decided to go for something simple like fish and chips.The battered hake and chips arrived with a salad bowl on the side. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw three battered fillets on the plate.To say this was gourmet food would be an injustice. It was the finest battered fish I've eaten in my lifetime. Cooked to perfection and the chips were also 100%.I was so impressed with the quality of the food and service, that, I asked if it would be possible to thank the chef personally.He arrived at my table in a dazzling white chefs uniform. Saw the good reviews I trip advisor so decided to try. Mixes salad for starters was tasty, fresh and plentiful. My husband had bbq chicken wings - now to be fair there were 8 meaty wings, crispy and tasty but no bbq sauce, we were offered ketchup, mayonnaise and chilli sauce to add to them. I chose the lamb chops and was not disappointed, 6 good sized chops served with boiled potatoes and vegetables- really nice chops - now they were cooked just rightfor me but others may think they were overdone- if you prefer pink inside I would definitely mention this. The chicken print piri was tasty , a full butterfly chicken breast served with chips and side salad. Loads of flavour. We didn't have dessert or coffees. All the staff were attentive, friendly and happy to see you. Thank you for a delicious meal.
