This Restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you like the traditional taste of Italian cuisine. All pizzas and pastas use fresh ingredients, the staff are extremely welcoming and they make you feel at home. They have a large terrace but it’s very comfortable to seat inside too. The atmosphere is great. To summarise: amazing food with great service. You can’t go wrong with them!!!

Every time I'm in Alvor I visit this restaurant for their great pizza and pasta. The service is fast and friendly, the wine is good quality and the prices are very reasonable. I particularly love the Cod lasagne and the seafood lasagne. Dining inside and outside with plenty of atmosphere.

For anyone who loves Italian food, this is a must visit when in Alvor. We opted to keep it simple, my wife chose lasagne whilst I went for cannelloni. Both were delicious and generous portions. We washed this down with some beer and a bottle of the house red wine. The bill came to a very reasonable 37.70 euros. Give it a go!

During the summer we tend to book a table as the restaurant can get very busy. We dined at La Piazza at least twice during our recent visit to Alvor. I particularly like the garlic bread Algarve style. It's incredibly fresh and no-one else in the village does it. We also collected a pizza to take home one evening as we were tired. Great food and attentive service make this restaurant a regular with our family. When we visit in November we'll sit inside and enjoy a cosy meal.

We visited this Italian restaurant twice on our recent holiday. It serves the best pizzas ever. Plenty of toppings on my thin and amazingly crispy base. On our first visit a gentleman at the next table had returned his lasagne to be reheated as it was cold in the middle, as a result when my husband was served his it was piping hot. we had a large beer each and this cost us 26 euros. On our second visit we shared a garlic bread with cheese, followed by a pizza. We made sure we had room for dessert. I had delicious caramel ice cream and my husband had caramel cheescake. This time we had a small bottle of local white wine which was so tasty. This time the bill was 27.30 euros.

Loved it! The staff are so helpful and friendly, they couldn't do enough for us! Food was beautiful and they do a great take away service too. Would definitely go back! They also presented a lovely plate for my grand daughter and she was very impressed with it!

Hands down the best pizza and pasta we’ve had. Service was friendly and the place was busy but food and drinks came in a good time. We had the hot pizza and the creamy spaghetti bake. So delicious. All homemade food and just exceptional.

We were served by a lovely lady, who let us eat outside with our dog (she even played her). The food was spectacular (nicely seasoned) and i was flabbergasted of how big the ice cream cone was. Muito Obrigado!

We were recommended this pizza restaurant by a local tour guide and we were not disappointed. They were hands down the best pizzas we’ve had in Alvor - the service was friendly and quick, and the food was piping hot. We’ve been coming to Alvor for over 20 years and can’t believe we’ve missed this place. Will definitely be back again - make sure you book ahead as it was very busy and we had to wait a while.

Excellent service, pizza and priced!Another visit in July 2023. We didn't book and were lucky to get a table inside. Prices are very reasonable which may be why it's so busy so book if you can. Oh, I should add that the pizza we ordered was cut and served with every other piece moved to a second plate as we were sharing the pizza....very thoughtful. Highly recommended.
