This dinner in a small neighborhood restaurant frequented by locals reflects the heart of Portuguese and the flavor of the gastronomy of this country. It was by far the best meal of the week, prepared with simplicity, with love for fresh produce and respect for consumers. Unlike tourist establishments, here everything is done and incredibly well done, of course. We took grilled fish, soft, tasty and succulent, served with tender garlic potatoes and a green salad, cucumber tomatoes as crunchy as they are delicious. Nothing well elaborated but the taste was perfect, nothing to envy to the 4 stars. The traditional desserts are also delicious. The welcome is warm and friendly, the boss cool, the charming gentleman who served us speaks French and is adorable and we had the pleasure of personally thanking the cook who delighted us so much. We hope to return! Thanks to the whole team! ?

Here we are the REAL! A restaurant IN ITS JUICE, the OLD! Not a chain of restaurants, not a restaurant on the seafront where you eat pizzas and burgers... the decoration has probably not changed in 40 years (and, like us, you are even hesitant to enter! ): a bar, old-fashioned tables and chairs but fresh products, simple and delicious dishes, homemade desserts and low prices. In the kitchen 2 elderly ladies, like the server for that matter. At JJ25, not many tourists but mostly locals who come to eat simple and authentic food! To really eat PORTUGUESE in PORTUGAL... Go for it!!!

A neighborhood bar of a lifetime, which does not transmit much confidence from the outside but which serves spectacular food.The owner is a great professional who has been dedicated to this all his life and both he and the rest of the waiters are close, attentive and friendly.The food was simply delicious, we ordered a grilled dorada and a veal fillet with potatoes and their own sauce, the meat was very good but the dorada was impressive. In addition, the homemade and rich desserts and the menu is translated into English even though it is not a tourist bar, which is appreciated.And best of all, this feast did not reach €18 per person.To put a fault, the food took a long time to arrive.A highly recommended place that shows that it is often better to get lost in the neighborhoods than to eat in the center.
