The quality of the food was absolutely amazing (I had the grilled sardines, and partner had grilled chicken, both dishes really flavourfull, freshly cooked in front of our eyes). Everything was piping hot and crispy, unlike other places, where you get lukewarm soggy sides. We also had a salad to share, bread + butter and olives were brought as starters, and we enjoyed the great quality and taste of every single ingredient - from the dense sourdough bread, tangy savoury olives, to the crunchy, juicy, refreshing salad. The wine glass was filled to the brim, and the owner kept adding to the bread and olives as we eat, without leaving the table getting empty. It is true that we weren't offered a menu, nor told about the prices (we didn't ask anyways), but we found the bill to be fairly priced, didn't feel robbed at all, as the portions were huge (could barely move after eating all the food), and the service was really good - from warm and friendly people. The owners are doing a great job uncompromising the quality of the food, and we can only imagine how hard it can be sometimes for such a small business to keep up with the costs off season. Would definitely go again.

Good reception, however it remains very limited in terms of quantities and quality.The salad was delicious.The prices are also very high considering the cuisine served.I should have read the reviews before going there.Without dessert and with just a Coke drink the bill is high taking into account all these elements.

Lugar alejado de la masificación turistica. Comida sencilla, buena y fresca a la parrilla, y a buen precio. Los dueños muy amables, trato familiar, buena atención con los niños. No hay pago con tarjeta, no me llegaba en efectivo y confiaron en mí para que les devolviera la diferencia al día siguiente. Un gran detalle que cualquiera no lo tiene.
I went to this place after seeing the reviews. I saw the prices at the entrance and it implied that it was affordable so I didn't ask for the menu. I ordered a chicken to share for the two children and a golden one to share. Ordered 3 imperials. Salad and starters. Normally, I don't ask for this, but as is the custom here in Portugal, I did. We ate only the olives. Anyway, that came out to 56.75. It's far from worth it. I won't be back and if you want to go ask the price of everything beforehand. I learned.
