Excellent Indian food cooked to order. Very good selection at a reasonable price We often find Indian in Portugal tastes sweet or bland. Swagat will adjust the spicyness to your tastes. The staff is very friendly and attentive and speaks English, the menu is in Portuguese and English. Highly recommended for a good Indian meal. Can order takeway and via Uber/Glovo delivery.
Dietary restrictions: Was able to adjust recipes to my cocoanut allergy.
Parking: Street parking nearby and also available parking lots along the Ribeirinha. In Summer tourist season might be more challenging.

Given our relatively high standard for Indian food, this was a delightful surprise from a modest Indian restaurant tucked away in the Algarve. A warm welcome followed by impressive dishes.. all freshly prepared and with perfect spice combinations that far exceeded our expectations. This restaurant really has a tandoor oven and you can taste it - the tandoori chicken was first class, as were the fresh pakora and samosas we ate as starters. If you like authentic Indian food, I strongly suggest a visit. Prices were very fair.
