Food is amazing, plenty of options and with the highest quality. Service was good and the vibe of the restaurant is very and The owner was very friendly. It was a little too hot inside for a summer day. I’d recommend to eat outside if possible. They accept reservations up until 20:30. For payments, be prepared as they don’t accept Portuguese multibanco but you can pay with revolut and cash.

The best way to end a day at the beach is at Tapas ó Destapas, without a doubt! We didn't know the place and were immediately welcomed by the staff. The snacks are incredible and the seafood is super fresh! We will certainly be back!

A beautiful evening in Portimao in the middle of summer…
For the setting, the welcome, the advice and the contagious good humor of the son.
You really have to stop to discover the many Portuguese specialties that this restaurant offers.
It was great, we recommend without hesitation (and we even hope to come back to taste the rest of the menu which will please everyone).
Favorite for the almond tart (to enjoy with two)

The guy at the reception sat us down and then a colleague of his came and kicked us out in a bad way saying that we had sat down in a bad way. On top of that, because of his bad manners, we asked him for the complaint form and he told us to call the police with all our might. cockiness. Worst meal in Portimão.
Its bad enough for someone with dietary requirements (celiac) that they have to be the burden of every culinary outing.
Finding a restaurant with any gluten free alternatives or even a pack of gf bread in the freezer is already a challenge in itself.
So I cater for disability, I bring my own packet of gluten free bread everywhere I go which is an absolute pain if Im honest.
I asked the waiter if they had gf bread, of course they did not; so I asked kindly if they could toast or warm my own bread that I brought for emergencies.
The waiter scoffed at me, told me he would find out for me and then disappeared for eternity. The food was served, everyone else at the table started eating. I continue to wait. I asked his colleague who also disappeared for a long time. And eventually after a 3rd discussion he said he “wont touch that”

If you aren’t going to offer any substitute for celiacs or other allergies, the least you could do is clean a corner of the grill or have a toaster in the kitchen where the customer can warm their own bread.

GF bread is absolutely tasteless cold.
Expensive tapas with cold tasteless bread is enough to ruin the entire experience.

We found this bar by chance and it has been a 10 experience. Very attentive and friendly staff with the Spanish. They have fresh seafood on display and everything we ordered was delicious: clams, shrimp carpaccio and sirloin Pau Pau with mustard. They have also advised us about the sangria (red fruit) and it is delicious. We will repeat if we return.

Quiet atmosphere, quality tapas, very well located next to the beach, they serve canecas as they should be, the price is good, the service is attentive, and the bathrooms are clean and curious. They are fast, it doesn't look like Portugal. Recommended site.

We went there twice! We wanted to go three times but it is closed on Sunday

Disastrous experience. I would never go again. After having spoken with one of the waiters and having sat down at the table, the person in charge of the room came to us in a very rude manner and got us up from the table, telling us that we had sat down without permission. We are amazed by the situation. A total embarrassment.
