I have been told about this place by a friend of mine and when I entered it gave me the idea of a small hostaria I used to go when I was a kid. Had a nice Turkish steak and tried some sardines. The fish was super fresh and the meat was exquisite. Loved it

The lady owner of the restaurant was very rude to me only because she is a person jealous. Neither professional nor polite
Just back from two night stay and ate here both nights. Not only my favourite restaurant in Portimao but one if my favourite anywhere. Honest home cooked food at honest prices lovely people and eating where locals eat is always the best guide for me. The best Turkey steak I’ve ever had it was so good had it two nights running. Cannot wait to go back and will be the first place i go to. Thanks again for such great food and wine. Best in town.

Be prepared for a wait, always a good sign when most people queueing are Portuguese. When seated food arrives fairly quickly and to the highest quality. Busy but charming staff. Will be visiting again for sure.
