Perhaps the best in Portugal, a Michelin star seems little to me after what I've seen there.
We had very high hopes for this restaurant, as it came highly recommended by friends, and while the entire experience, including the service, visiting the kitchen, having a lovely beach view, was truly very wonderful, we felt as though the food was lacking. We wanted to see more raw seafood product - many dishes lost the integrity of the product itself. The cheese pairing at the end was a massive letdown. In the end, price/food quality ratio was off for us.

I’ve chosen not to post all courses so save the surprises but my stand outs were the squid dish which is probably in my top five dishes of all time. And also the orange tree.
Service and the experience was impeccable. Deserves the star.
Would go again.
