An authentic Portuguese restaurant with a windmill bakery in the outskirts of Evora. Our Day Trip driver brought us to the highly acclaimed restaurant, difficult to get a reservation but he managed. A traditional rustic interior with welcoming staff, and a menu new to us. We challenged our taste buds with pigs feet , pigs head cheese, and shark soup( not to be confused with shark fin soup). There was also very yummy bean fritters and a tasty dessert Sericaia. A wonderful experience.
The food was not only delicious but also exuded a rustic charm that left a lasting impression. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by a warm and cozy ambiance, complete with traditional Portuguese décor and friendly staff.
We had the waiter chose for our group and it was spectacular. Everything was excellent. Service quality and wine was all first class.
The best place in Evora for a family dinner. Rustic atmosphere, a very friendly reception and service. Food is delicious (even bread is in-house made). The old mill nearby (it is till operating!) adds to the great charm of the place. Pity that it was our last evening, otherwise we could have more dinners in this beautiful place.

(Translated by Google) It goes a little unnoticed, but it is in a passing area. Very well attended, with helpful care. Simple but very tasty Portuguese food at a very reasonable price. I had the fava beans dish of the day with spare ribs and it was really good. Only the dish, drink and coffee cost less than €10. Extras add value. But for a meal for two we pay less than €15 per person (including starters). We even received some chocolate truffles as a gift. They are now open for lunch and dinner.(Original)Passa um pouco despercebido, mas fica numa zona de passagem. Muito bem atendidos, com um cuidado prestimoso. Restaurantji Recommends
I used to come and eat up here when I was a student and the restaurant opened. It keeps the same good old atmosphere and goodies. Wonderful and varied menu made of Alentejo traditional goodies. Please try the secretos de porco preto and the migas. Price is adequate and the staff is friendly and professional. Lovely decoration of an old wind mill.

my guide took me here for a birthday lunch (i was traveling solo ) after finding out how much i liked tomatoe soup he chose this unusual restaurant. the food is typical portuguese run by a very nice family. our waiter, who i would have sworn was american told me he learned english on was it youtube? as promised the soup was amazing. i also had some port, way too much for one person. i would definitely recommend this interesting and quirky restaurant. and the bread!!!!!
We reserved a table for 3 and confirmed our reservation the previous day, however on arrival we were greated by the owner in an arrogant and unpleasant way, because we arrived 12 minutes late. We explained that we travelled from Leiria and had a small child, however the owner simply said he gave our table away so he could not serve us anymore. It appears that a large group showed up at our reservation time and as he could not reach us over the phone, he assumed that the customers with the reservation were not going to show up. The way we were treated as customers was very poor and disrespectful. We will never go back again, it was a very unpleasant experience.
