This restaurant/café is located in a beautiful location next to the volcanic baths in Porto Moniz. The staff is just not very friendly and hospitable. In addition, the food is of a fairly simple and poor standard. We ordered a Steak on Plate and two Roast Chicken. You could throw away half of the meal (bad and fatty/soggy piece of meat). I have to say that the price is also too low to expect too much from it. It's better to just have a drink here.
Great experience, but not a cheap place. We paid 55€. We tried octopus for starters, it was delicious. The food was great. The waiter was really good, he recommended what to order
The terrace is pleasant and the service was friendly. However the food was a disappointment. The octopus with a sauce with the right dose of spicy (for those who like it) but undercooked. The swordfish with not very juicy and flavorless meat. Soft fried corn. A shame, the location and the friendliness of those who served deserved the meal to be up to par.
