We ordered the vegan pizza that was labeled on the menu. It was spinach and pumpkin with vegan cheese. Taste was okay! We also ordered a huge bowl of chips!
We also ordered an orange juice which tasted very fresh and nice.
Staff weren't particularly friendly and the food did seem expensive for what it was. The meal cost us €26 (1 pizza, bowl of chips, 1 coca cola, 1 orange juice).
Very slow and confused service, very long waiting time for menu, then even longer to order and food. The dishes themselves were okay, tasty, nicely presented (cod with vegetables, pizza)
We went to dinner on an atypical day: Saturday of sea week. Probably the day that Porto Moniz sees the most people in the municipality throughout the year. That's why everyone else was full.
For this reason and other reasons, this restaurant did not accept reservations and we stood in line waiting for a table. So far so good. Until 4 people arrive and two more who pass by, go to the counter and sit at the table.
