On a trip to those parts, for work or pleasure, you have to stop at this iconic house and simply order roast chicken, like one per person... preferably washed down with very fresh casserole. And then it's time to taste one of the most ancient Portuguese delicacies, our roast pito. Oh, and the service is impeccable and hygiene is a plus.

The place was huge and still bustling with customers even during the non-peak hours we visited. We ordered the BBQ chicken (grilled) with French fries and salad. The food came out fast and was good. I really enjoyed it, but their bathroom situation could improve. Had I gone to their bathroom before eating, I would have lost my appetite. Service was hit or miss. The gentleman who took our order and brought out the food was very polite and welcoming. However, the gentleman who brought out our check didn’t even make eye contact and said nothing as he took our payment and just left the receipt on the table. Geez.
