I arrived at 22.29h to the place and they said the kitchen closes at 22.30h. We said we came from far to eat by indication of a person in the venue we went to work. They denied to serves us food. Lack of discernment and interest in the clients. We look for another place by indication of local people that we ask on the street and we found a place that serve Francesinhas. And everyone said that Francesinhas XL is not the best place to eat them. We had a great experience in Almada Bar.

The food isn't bad. If you want to drink a fine wine and eat a francesinha poveira, this is a great place to do so. But the atmosphere falls a little short with the "jokes" from what I assume is the boss/manager. The staff that served us was friendly!

After 15 years of being a customer at the restaurant, I will stop going to the place due to stupidity on the part of the owner who was super arrogant, totally unbalanced and without any professionalism. The product may even be good, but when it lacks humility, the house falls apart. I realized from the comments that this wasn't the first time this had happened. Good luck to whoever goes there.

Great food at an excellent price, the sauce is completely different from other restaurants (also known as "not bought in a supermarket") the tables are always clean and the waiters are super friendly and attentive, I recommend the large XL francesinha and the large XL dog, they never disappoint!

Manager rude, aggressive and clearly aware that he is not well enough to take on the position. From arguing with the staff in front of customers, to asking us to leave simply to let them know that the food was taking too long.
