The only restaurant in my beloved land where fish is king. And it is treated with all the respect and care that this food deserves. Extraordinary team headed by Mr. Americo.

Our group of four ate lunch here after meeting Américo and Maria the day before, when they were closed but invited us in to talk about their gluten-free meal options for our one member with a celiac condition. We all had fish dishes that were, quite simply, remarkable. The fish was prepared very well and Maria served us at the table. The potatoes that accompanied the meal were also prepared perfectly. The atmosphere was homelike and we were all very-warmly received. We definitely recommend and will return!

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options to accommodate a celiac condition.

A nice restaurant! They let me in before the start time and even they don’t speak English, they did their best to help me ordering what I wanted.A bit pricy compared to the other restaurants in the area, but definitely, it worth! Very tasty food!

Delightful! Was out first night out of Porto starting our Camino de Santiago journey. We were exhausted and wanted something delicious, special and close to our hotel. What a find. We arrived and tried to make reservations, which proved difficult given the language barrier. But the owner was there and was so accommodating!! She gave us a table and helped us navigate the menu and fresh fish options with unimaginable patience. We basically pointed to a fish in the fridge and something on the menu under appetizers (we knew it was sausage). Everything was better than expected. Table side plating of perfectly cooked whole fish, incredible wines and the sausage turned out to be what I can only describe as house cured, gourmet, artisan sausage served with a triple creme cheese. The chef came out and charmed us with smiles and friendly banter. Highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for Barca for your hospitality and delicious, memorable dinner! Easily our favorite meal in Portugal. We got a red and white wine. Sorry I don't have a pic of the fish.
