Good francesinha, but nothing special. Sauce between Braga and port, sweet, but also spicy; potatoes are frozen, not homemade and service is reasonable... they take a while to serve and not all waiters take the order. Very noisy space.

The restaurant has a very good atmosphere, right on the beach, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is known for its francesinha, but it is not the ideal place for those who like a good spicy sauce, in the Porto style.

I have been a customer of the "Mestre" restaurant for several years, celebrating many of my birthdays here. It’s one of my favorite restaurants to eat francesinha, alternating between the restaurant in “A ver o mar” and the one in “Pracinha de Vila do Conde”. The francesinha is really good!

However, today I had a less positive experience. They didn't prioritize my baby's simple dish. It took more than 40 minutes to serve some fever and a mouthful of rice. I understand that a dish like a francesinha takes some time to prepare, but even after speaking with the employee and asking for priority for my baby's dish, they served everything together with the francesinhas. My daughter was already quite upset and impatient with hunger, and I ended up eating my dish cold.

I would also like to note that there is no soup available, which may be a limitation for those visiting with young children. From today's experience, I conclude that the restaurant is not the most suitable for children. However, I believe that those responsible will take measures to improve the comfort of the little ones and, therefore, I will review my review on my next visit.
