I've visited three times already for lunch and will definately come back here ? I don't eat meat, I don't speak Portugueues ? but each time I was proposed something delicious and it wasn't fish only. My today's menu do dia: veggi soup with fresh bread, lasagne with vegetables and amazing bechamel sauce with, I guess, some nutmeg ??? Plus wine and very good coffee and all that with awesome, friendly and smiling staff. Great place, thank you so much !

We were not shown the menu but were told what was available. We both chose filetes de pescada, and shared one full portion, as recommended. We had bread, olives, half of house wine, and water. The food was OK (same as everywhere else). We were not given a bill but were just told an amount. It seemed very high. I queried the price of the fish. It was high. On the way out we checked the menu. We were overcharged by about 10 euros. Yes, we are tourists, but we speak some Portuguese, and we know the routines. It was a disappointing end to an enjoyable few days in Povoa. We won't return.
