Great place for lunch. It appears they are only open for lunch and closed around the holidays. The entrance to the restaurant is easy to miss, the signage is very modest. For reference, they are opposite of the Vodafone store. They have spacious covered outdoor patio where smoking is allowed, as well as comfortable indoor seating with high back chairs (thankfully, no smoking inside).We had the sandwiches with fries, delicious and very reasonably priced.

Delicious meat platters, friendly staff and reasonably priced by US standards for a huge platter of very tender and delicious meat. People rave about the sangria but tbh I was not a fan as the rose flavored one tasted like bubblegum. We asked about accessibility and they told us the number of steps and said they can help carry up the stairs. They have a regular who they lift the chair up the stairs and said they are happy to help since they don’t have an elevator. This was my favorite restaurant in the algarve area we went to and might be for our Portugal trip. Nothing was too salty and at other restaurants we found some dishes extremely salty.

Fantastic restaurant! We went twice and had different food and cocktails both times and everything we had was amazing, the steak is the best steak both of us has ever had! We had our 7 month old baby with us and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Can’t recommend it enough!

From the point of booking the whole experience was outstanding, the food was amazing and to die for the sense of humour from the staff was out standing would highly recomend this resturant to anybody. Ww vooked for another night before finishing our meal.

Oh my goodness what an absolute treat Amazing service …happy contented staff really the food was delightful we came for my cousin birthday treat we never even had to ask they put a candle in his sweet and gave him a glass of brandy in the biggest glass I’ve ever seen he was totally made up my husband and him shared a tomahawk steak …..I myself a veggie burger both meals were so tasty and the bill wasn’t off the scale either . Very very busy place and can see why the young owner was a lovely young man Can and will highly recommend and will return again wonderful evening for a special occasion ?

Fantastic!! From the ambience, to the staff, the food and the wine our visit was amazing. So much so we rebooked for a few days later! We had the fried squid algarvian style and the garlic shrimp, both full of flavour and delicious. The meat board consisting of beef fillet, veal, pork and chorizo was cooked to perfection and the meat so tender. A must visit if you are in the area!! I would recommend booking in advance as the restaurant gets extremely busy. We can't wait to return!!

Given the opportunity we would have wished to have visited TASCA 26 more than twice during our recent stay in the Alporchinos area, but sadly we didn’t book up early enough. Would recommend if you are not a vegetarian you email seeking at least one booking before you even set off to your airport! Yes it is that good. Food and Staff made this place for us a holiday highlight. Thank you. (Still thinking of those super meat boards)

It is essential to book even in the off-season. A warm and friendly welcome ensued before being shown to our table. The menu, wine menu, and cocktail list followed shortly afterwards. My wife wished to try the green wine, and the waiter arranged this. The wine met with my wife's approval (always a good start). The meal was very, very good. I liked it when I asked for the bill if my wife and I would like a port or schnapps. Having never really enjoyed port (Xmas rollout of Ruby port came to mind), but the port we had, and we were so glad that we did. It was a very big change from Ruby Port, ?.

This place totally met our expectations. We were greeted warmly my Tiago. Menu was quite extensive and a good wine list also. Food was abundant and delicious. We noticed many people getting turned away as they did not have reservations. We had a most enjoyable evening and sos bro feel rushed al all even though we knew our table was rebooked for 8pm. We were also offers a lovely post dinner drink by the delightful Tiago. You should go but you should book several days ahead to get the time you want. Can’t remember the other servers names but they were all excellent. Would definitely go back.

This is a comfortable restaurant with great food. I had the surf and turf and the tiger prawns were cooked perfectly and so sweet! It is not easy finding good beef, but the filet I had here was one of the best I have ever had. So tender and flavorful! Great service as well! This place is packed most of the time so reservations are a must. This is now one of my top 5 restaurants in the Algarve!
