They offer normal or "half" size dishes... we ask the waitress to indicate which size is suitable for a person and, very confused, she cannot answer. We order the normal size.. it turns out huge! Apart from the slice of fish, two grains of white rice, a spoonful of salad, 3 unseasoned boiled potatoes. A sad looking dish, overcooked tuna and with cod (€25!!!!) a shower of unseasoned garlic and chickpeas. At the request with amazement they bring us the condiments. Tasteless prawn appetizer, with 10/15 pieces of garlic on top... it remains tasteless anyway! Luckily they give us a doggy bag to take away the leftovers from an €80 dinner!!!! Not recommended but if there's nothing else open and like us you don't have a car, at least they'll give you something to eat.

Very nice lunch with sea view on Almoxarife beach. We had a fairly good slice of swordfish and skewers of calamari and prawns which were a bit tasteless. Very generous portions. Quick service and courteous staff. Overall good value for money by Azorean standards.

We are from Argentina and the person who rented us the car recommended the place to us. It's very simple, it doesn't draw much attention, but it's warm! What really matters is the food and in that aspect I must thank whoever recommended this place to us. Abundant and very delicious meals. Even though we arrived late for the reservation because we got lost and they were practically waiting for us, they welcomed us and treated us very well.

The Minimar Restaurant disappoints in several essential aspects. From the lack of hygiene to the disrespectful attitude of the employees, the experience suffers. The outdated mentality is reflected in the decor and service. The food is less than satisfactory, there are many better places to spend our money. A complete renovation is necessary to regain the trust of customers, both local and foreign. You can be sure that I will never return, a terrible experience, I have never felt as poorly treated and disrespected as I did.
