“A real gem of a place! We had an excellent meal here with a superb front of house. My partner and I had a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine and it came to 60 euros, great value. The garlic bread was easily the best I've had in Madeira (and I've had a few!)It was fairly quiet due to the time of year and they were closing for their holidays after that night, which made total sense.I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again next time I'm nearby.“

“Very unexpected GREAT meat dinner ! They do a super job in 1. choosing the meat (it’s local, from Madeira, and you can feel it; 2. Cooking it with the grill.
We got the chicken: so tender, so tasty ! And the beef sirloin: also very soft..a great meat that you rarely find.

“During our vacation we spent two evenings at Calheta Green. The restaurant is beautifully located - with a view of the sea and quiet, green surroundings. The food was very fresh and tasty. The grill is visible to all guests. The restaurant also offers a bar.
We were particularly impressed by the service of our waiter Igor. We could always trust his recommendations regarding food and drinks. His very friendly and, above all, attentive way of working stands out clearly from other locations on Madeira. After our first visit, his service persuaded us to spend our last evening in Madeira in this restaurant.
