Nice restaurant with local food, the prices are completely reasonable and the service is fine. The dishes are all freshly prepared, and some of the vegetables and herbs grow directly in our own garden outside the terrace.

I had Portuguese goulash, my partner ribs. Ribs was just fried bacon with a lot of fat. Goulash was nothing special. We received our plate without cutlery and still had to wait for the ordered vegetables. Which was just some boiled carrots, cauliflower and broccoli. Unfriendly service. We didn't really feel welcome

Friendly staff, outside space is very pleasant, sword fillet (one of the typical Madeiran dishes) was verySimple, side dishes, nothing special and small portions. Clean toilet but a broken toilet. I consider it expensive for the quantity and preparation of the dishes. I paid €20.00 for a sword dish, 2 glasses of wine, shared dessert and coffee.

A real gem of a place! We had an excellent meal here with a superb front of house. My partner and I had a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine and it came to 60 euros, great value. The garlic bread was easily the best I've had in Madeira (and I've had a few!)It was fairly quiet due to the time of year and they were closing for their holidays after that night, which made total sense.I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again next time I'm nearby.

We were fortunate enough to be introduced to this family run restaurant by family of ours that live in Madeira and how fortunate we were!!! We were a group of four and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. We had the grilled Bacalau (Codfish) and their grilled prawns. Served with boiled potatoes, ? Salad and we ordered Milho Frito all were incredibly delicious. Their chef can be so proud of all plates that leave his kitchen. Thank you for a lovely meal!!! Best wishes for an incredible 2024. Always a good sign when the restaurant is filled with locals.

Such an underdog. We went here because all the restaurants were closed on the day of our arrival. I didn't feel the best from the meal the next day. We had picado, the meat was tough and not well seasoned.
