Loved it! A traditional little Portuguese restaurant on a back street just off the beach front. We were enticed by the number of locals eating their lunch, and the previous good reviews on here. It’s the “Menu do Dia” set menu format that includes a main, drink, dessert and coffee for the bargain price of 12 euro. We had the traditional lamb stew and tuna salad, both of which were delicious, with huge portions, followed by the mango mousse. Yum! It’s never going to win a Michelin star, but for good, hearty, traditional food, you can’t fault it.

I did not eat any food, but the service was absolutely disgusting. I have never experienced anything like this in my 45 years on this planet. The wait staff were extremely rude, and would stare rudely at our dinner party. I am unsure what prompted this but there was no need for this. I would not recommend this establishment to any one. Steer clear! If the owner does read this: you should be ashamed of this kind of behaviour. Obrigado friends!

This is a love it or hate it restaurant. My family thought the chicken was good, my fish was very dry, overcooked and looked like it was fresh out of a cash and carry pack; it was poor and I was Ill afterwards. I will try it again to see if I’m wrong. I’d rather pay more and have a decent meal though.

Food was good and price very reasonable, my complaint is purely because of the table service, waiter didn't speak good English or Portuguese, after our order was taken he stood at the bar and ignored us for the rest of the meal except when he went to grab the tip I left on the table.

Best Menu Quality/Price in the hole Algarve.You have 1 Drink, some olives an bread, a main Course of your choice and an dessert for one 11€.In our case we choose the Bacalhau a Bràs and TUna Fish. Really tasty and big Portion. Dont forget to order an Almond Cake.
