Arrive at a Tapas bar… which doesn’t do tapas! A first.
Two choices of dish, prices are not displayed. I had a salmon which was good but the potatoes were reheated and a little salad without seasoning. A little disappointed to have stopped here.
On the other hand, the server was helpful.

A pearl in the city. New dishes every day. We ordered a casserole (reminiscent of an Escondidinho) and a grilled Dourado. Both were well served (we ordered 2 dishes for 3, we're not big eaters). They came with salad. they were very tasty.
The food was great, the staff was hardworking, the space was pleasant, not to mention Dona Carla (the owner of the restaurant) who is a lovely person and made us feel super welcome.
It was my first time at Cais, but it won’t be the last! It will be a restaurant to return to, for sure! ?
