Recently moved here and trying places one at a time. went here for lunch on a Sunny Sunday afternoon. We shared the garlic prawns and a Greek salad. Both were incredible, five large prawns and the salad had a ton of great feta cheese. We sat in the sun and enjoyed the afternoon. We will definitely be back. Looking forward to trying some of the other menu selections. Minor warning, they have limited inside seating so the seating would be limited if it is raining. Overall a great experience at a good price

Getting a bit chilly, but still the restaurant has a cosy atmosphere and the food is really good.Only annoyance was that the restaurant is quiet. It's that time of year. I dined alone and thought it would be okay if I sat at the table closest to the heater. But I was told it was not okay. Totally understand. When in Rome. Just a bit silly to be honest.Nice restaurant and I highly recommend it.
Vegetarian options: They have a whole vegetarian section.
Parking: Winter is coming! Lots of parking space available now. In summer it's a bit more difficult.
Wheelchair accessibility: The Old Village is totally wheelchair friendly.

Had the worst experience in 30 years visiting the Algarve.Staff exceptionally rude.Food very very average.What a pity, as great location.Staff have a-lot to learn not getting great guidance fromSenior staff. In one word Pathetic .

After several visits to old village decided to visit caso largo, very disappointed. Had a chicken wrap, dried out tiny piece of chicken and limp salad. Service was very mediocre with staff who were reluctant to let us peruse menu at our own pace. Waitress appeared bored and couldn't be bothered to serve us. Will not use this place again.

We had our wedding this year at casa do largo and it was amazing from start to finish. Heather was so helpful throughout the entire process and on the run up to the day, ensuring we had everything we needed and truly making the day go 100% to plan. The food was unbelievable, the amount of guests we had say that it was the best wedding food they had ever had, along with the amazing desserts, toasts, shots (can't forget those!) And just general all round care from the team - it was the best day ever. I'll try convince Ian to do it all again in say 5 years time? ? thanks again everyone! Lots of love Debs and Ian x

We had our wedding here in August. We had been planning it for 3 years and Heather has been amazing. It has been so stress free throughout the whole planning process thanks to her. On the day the place was amazing the whole staff team went totally above and beyond. The BBQ food for the wedding was amazing and it’s something that the whole of our wedding party commented on. In the evening Heather’s son was behind the bar in Florentine’s and he was fantastic so polite and helpful and just really energetic dancing away to the music. Our pizzas in the evening when down a storm with the wedding party. Heather looked after my guests got them taxis and even escorted them to make sure they got in them. The day went without a hitch and I’m so glad we chose this place to hold our special day. We look forward to returning and seeing Heather next year.
We’ve eaten here on several occasions & each time the food get worse but this time it was Really poor food 3 pax had pri pri chicken which if any dryer would of just disintegrated into a powder. Even the stray cat struggled to eat it. On the plus side the 1/4 of tomato and 3 slices of onion was fresh.

Food was lovely. Menu had great options and food cooked well. However, I cannot stress enough how bad the senior waiting staff are. They are so unwelcoming and unfriendly on the 2 occasions we have visited. It’s almost as if the customers are in their way! There are two older women, one English and one NZ (maybe SA, my accent identification is not great) but they should not be customer facing. There is also a younger English girl, long false lashes who was totally rude to us and our kids. No expects red carpet being rolled out but common decency and patience while the table orders their food would be a basic requirement. No thanks Casa Do Largo - our €250 plus tip bill will be better spent somewhere else!

We chose Casa do Largo for our wedding on 25th June. It exceeded our expectations, Heather & her team are amazing & experts at making sure your day runs like clockwork. We had 88 guests the venue was dressed beautifully. The food was out of this World it just kept on coming & it was cooked to perfection. Florentinas was perfect after the ceremony & for the evening party it's air conditioned and as we were married in 38 degrees the air conditioning was very much needed. The Old Village is the most beautiful setting we will definitely be returning for our anniversary. Our wedding was just perfect & all guests had the best day thank you to Heather with her meticulous planning & her beautiful venue. I wish we could do it all again ♥️

So finally decided to check out the Old Village Vilamoura. Was walking around and found this place on next to last day they were open for the season. Glad we did. Very nice location, lovely scenery, nice outdoor seating area. Food was good, service was great. All in all a very nice experience. We will be back when they open again next year. *Update Ok, it's next year and we went back to check this place out again. This time we both had 1/2 Chicken Dinner. She did Piri-Piri, I just did Roasted. Both were very good, but hers was better. ☺️ Service was awesome. Just a lovely setting for a nice quiet meal away from the Marina.
