Absolutely fantastic food and service. We wanted a break from fish (they also serve fresh fish) and ordered the Argentinian Picanha with cheese for 2 as it was recommended by the server. The meat is delicious and well cooked, and it is a large portion which includes fries, rice, beans and the best chorizo I tried to date. The oranges and grilled pineapple were also a nice touch. Bring cash and your appetite.

The chic restaurant is now called O KOKAS and this new management has truly brought a new era to the space. The restaurant is fresh clean and most importantly the food is excellent. I highly recommend this new space to everyone, congratulations chef Filipe Martins on your new project, I already knew your restaurant in Quarteira,At home but really this one, from the location to the service to the ambiance, is really top notch and will be repeated over and over CONGRATULATIONS.

Chico is an amazing host and made sure that our every need was met. The food was outstanding and really good value for money. The seafood tagliatelle was beautiful with a good variety of fish. I would definitely recommend this. My husband prawn starter and Squid main was exceptional. After our meal and with our coffee he gave us a shot each of his own home made alcohol. We thought this was a really nice to do. We enjoyed our visit so much that we have booked a table again this week. Both he and Rakesh were good fun and attentive and made our visit special.
What a special treat in Vilamoura away from the tourist feel of the marina restaurants! We loved it so much that we chose to dine here twice during our short stay in the Algarve. Chico and his manager Francisco made us feel like royalty and we enjoyed delicious fresh seafood, chocolate mousse and his wife’s home baked cheesecake. We enjoyed talking to him and he went out of his way to make sure the fish was free of any bones. We can highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning someday. Don’t miss out on this local gem ?
