We have stayed in Conrad for my birthday. Dined in Gusto on first night and it was the best experience I have ever had.
We have opted for 9 course tasting menu, spent three hours constantly eating! Extra bread and amuse Bouche, with some petit four to finish.
Amazing sommelier recommended us local Alvarino.
I would recommend from start to finish!

Dietary restrictions: Member of party had shrimp and raw food restriction. They were able to cook the seafood and meat well done and substitute the prawn dish for another.

A symphony of dishes with attentive staff.Bravo for the search for harmony, the dishes were balanced, tasty, well presented.I felt pampered, excellent service!The sommelier is a well of knowledge and has that little je ne sais quoi that makes you melt.The guitar-voice-harmonica musician rocked my ears during dinner.It’s flawless, congratulations again!

This place was excellent in food, service , and ambiance. Loved the fact that this was inside my hotel! Conrad Algarve. The pace of the food being served was good. Each bite was described and delicious. Hate going to restaurants that are " frou frou" and you feel like you didn't get your money's worth. This place was worth every penny. Can't really say which dish was my favorite since I loved it all! A definite must when dining in the Algarve

We had an exceptional time, everything was perfect (dinner on Saturday October 28, 2023). A very beautiful room, tastefully furnished. A large number of staff, very available, smiling, making the effort to speak in French, very attentive, who wish to share their passion. Impeccable service. Dishes that combine taste, technicality and creativity, everything you expect from a starred restaurant. Here is a 1 star restaurant which should soon receive its 2nd. We regularly visit Michelin-starred restaurants, but we know of few that reach this level.

Disappointing our first visit.We started with some mistakes: We ordered the most complete tasting menu, 9 courses and €200, with wine pairings, another €100 per person. After three minutes, they tell us that for the first three passes they do not have wine in the pairing, and they offer a glass of chapagne, another €29. Five minutes later, they report that the white truffle in the crayfish dish has another supplement. This time, plus €20 per person. I'm not going to make any more comments...Food? well, how could it be otherwise. Surprises? None. Worse, a lily hidden under a tomato sauce, a tortellini invaded by the predominant flavor of fennel and a flat porcini.Good desserts.Nice service.

A bittersweet taste is what I feel after visiting Gusto!The menu was good, it would be bad, but without any surprising or innovative proposal… well!The “machine” working to shamelessly sell more and more extras for no real reason ? .The service, although it improved towards the end, largely due to the customer's credit, reminiscent of the Algarve of the late 70s, it seems that little has changed and I don't think I need to say anything more.For those who understand... ?The atmosphere was too noisy for the type of restaurant, I don't know if it was due to the proximity of the bar or the small distance between the tables.Anyway, not to be repeated ??‍♀️

Everything is just right here! The menu, a taste highlight that is hard to beat. The service team, that's how it should be. Full attention in all matters without seeming intrusive, really great!The wine accompaniment, a trip through Portugal, perfect...I actually enjoy it and rarely take photos of the individual courses, but this menu puts a smile on your face when you look at the pictures.Keep it up, see you next year!

Incredible food, atmosphere and staff (once again) here at Gusto. From wonderful cocktails on arrival to great advice from the Sommelier, we were transported into a gastronomic experience like no other. Without a doubt, one of the best meals we've ever eaten and the croissant ice cream was simply genius!!! Thankyou to the team for being so informative, welcoming and for making it a special evening for my husband's 50th birthday.

7 course tasting menu with wine pairings. One word - fantastic! Every mouthful was an utter delight. The presentation was spectacular and it’s one of the best dining experiences I have ever had.

On Nov 7 we attended the "All Stars" Event by Heinz Beck's at Gusto restaurant in Almancil. A 7 Michelin-star Champagne event : Heinz Beck has 3 stars, Salvatore Luliano 2 stars, Liborio Buonocore 1 star and Francesco Nunziata 1 star, who together have 7 Michelin stars !! The 4 Chefs were present and each prepared their dishes (an 8 course menu). This heavenly food was accompanied by 4 different exquisite kinds of Laurent Perrier Champagne (as much as you wanted !!) The evening started at the Bar with a reception & (plenty) of delicious canapes, where Sandra Hüfnagel and together with her perfectly high-level trained (and extremely friendly) Team gave us a very warm welcome !! They all did their outmost to make our evening unforgettable !! No need to say the dinner was heavenly!! And on top, I was spoiled: since I have a severe allergy, Chef Heinz prepared especially for me a completely different very tasty course !! By the way, every time we go to Gusto, there are a few things on the menu I cannot eat and everytime I am spoiled !! and not by replacing it for example by smoked salmon, No, it is always an extremely good different plate. And more: once you have been there, the Chef and his Team will remember your allergy and take it into account. Even my printed menu was adjusted !! We truly hope such Events will occur more often ! Count on us to come !!!! Congratulations to the Chefs, the kitchen Team, Sandra and her Team and many others behind the scene who surely contrubuted to give the guests the best evening ever !! A big Thank you to all of you !!
